2. That's fine as long as they declassify and release all 9/11 WH docs
Let's have huge non-stop hearings in September and October to determine who was and wasn't telling the truth about 9/11.

4. And some people question why it took him so long to "come out". He knew..
what he would be up against, and still did the right thing.

Do we know how to e-mail Clarke? We need to let him know that we are behind him 100%.

9. he came out as SOON as they stopped holding up his book
he didn't hold off at all

the pugs really screwed themselves by taking so long to vet the book, in hopes, initially, that the commission would be finished by May, and that his book would be out after that, thereby vitiating its impact

oops!

10. Yes, I have long pointed out the similarity between Busheviks
and Bolsheviks.

Save for a bit of basic economic philosophy and owing to different time periods and different customs, they are pretty identical, leaders and followers both.

6. A law suit would mean lots of depositions.
The administration would be very, very busy.

8. They are scum
Everything is TOP SECRET, & the people can't know about it, until they leak or drop classified stuff to make their case.

11. This is a big mistake for Frist - Does he really want to go there?
So Clarke was a big liar in 2002 when he was in Bush admin, huh? They do not want to go there - this will backfire so badly.

14. These idiots never learn.
First they investigate O'Neill, keeping him in the news longer than he would've been otherwise. Now this.

If they had any sense, they'd take the hit from Clarke and move on. If they try to get Clarke for perjury, they'll only be giving him a platform and serious amounts of media exposure.

I'm beginning to think these Republicans are just flat-out stupid.

15. "You can't wrap fire in paper."
When it comes to the Chinese government's deceit, cover-up and spin operation, the people are fond of saying "you can't wrap fire in paper."

Their house of cards will come crumbling down, as will the shaky foundation upon which it was built. They always overreach. They always push too far. They seem to have forgotten that this issue involves September 11. The American people will remind them.

16. I hope they do. If the repukes get the ball rolling
Clarke will come out just fine, and Bush will once again be shown as criminally negligent.
