20. Glad to see that you're not watching the media whore anymore!
Remember too that many of these same media whores were all giggles and laughs at the *hole fun-fest the other night, featuring the missing WMDs.

By the way, what team are you rooting for? My team, Boston College, was sent packing last weekend. They had a chance to make it to the Sweet 16, but couldn't get past Georgia Tech. I don't think they would have advanced to the field of eight though.

Now I'm going to say something that might upset some folks on DU, but I'm for any team that is capable of sending the Blue Devils back to Durham. Interestingly enough, BC will be joining the ACC in July 2005.

Remember now, stay away from those media whores! B-)

well, not hate em, but they ALWAYS get the calls

sorta like.........the PUGS, right?

I rooted for BC in their game, btw

watching a tape of Daily Show

then Letterman's clip of Bush SPITTING on WH lawn, wiping glasses on aide's jacket

seen those?

just put on Bob Marley live tape

get up, stand up, stand up for your rights!

31. John Stewart is always a cure for the media whore blues!
I know what you mean about the Blue Devils. It's sort of like allowing Condi to misspeak behind closed doors and not under oath.

My sincerest apologies for the BC team you saw last week. You and the nation didn't get a chance to see them at their finest. Both big men and main scorers went the entire first half without points and they looked just plain uncertain for most of the game. Of course, Georgia tech had a little something to do with that.

Yeah, I've seen the spitting and wiping clips. They still gross me out!

Marley is the man! Good luck tonight against you-know-who. The way we see it up here, it's always a 'good day' when time is running out on the clock and the Blue Devils are crying on the bench with towels over their heads.

What can I say; I am a product of my environment. B-)

2. Bob Graham, who was there, at the 2002 hearings, says FINE
release his testimony

but release EVERYTHING else surrounding that

he seemed completely confident in Clarke's honesty

this is so CLEARLY a feint from the fascoids

they'll prosecute him as soon as Perle re-instates his libel suit against Hersh

what a hot, steaming pantload

meanwhile, what about Condi CHANGING her TESTIMONY?

huh? what about THAT?

when is it going to be even MENTIONED?

why? cause if it comes out on TV, her cred will be deflated like a toy balloon and that will be the END of ALL the smears against Clarke.

am I wrong about this?

5. don't panic
this is a good thing.

The more they go after him, the longer he's in the news, the more his claims are repeated, the more the Republicans look like rabid assholes.

I hope they DO try to charge him with perjury. They'll have to get Rice, Armitage, Cheney et. al. under oath to try to prove it.

18. they won't
even if they have the will, which they don't, they let the junta RUN OUT the CLOCK

by the time it went to court, it'd be too late

STONEWALLING lessons, compliments of daddy's boys during Iran/Contra

did you know that Cheney and Dole were among the very strongest impediments to anything being learned then? cheney was a scumbag congressman, and Dole, I think was reviled by Walsh more than anyone short of poppy for his role.]

they're just running out the clock

Panic mode, to be sure, but counting on that artificial barrier to save them

that's why they took so long vetting Clarke's book

counting on a May ending, they thought they could keep it under wraps til then

too fricking BAD, you naziprix

12. What's world record for GOP perjury charges from one case?
That record world be shattered if the neo-cons attempt to bring charges against Clarke and the reThug have to take the stand under oath.

It's not a matter of some lying. They would allhave to lie, and they would all be caught. It's too late. The evidence is out there to convict anyone who says Bush focused on Al-Queda before 9/11.

that's what they do all the time

Kerry, to his credit, has challenged them.

hope he revisits that challenge OFTEN!

29. Dumbya would have to tesify to "prove" perjury
To make a GOP "perjury" case against Clarke, Dumbya would have to publically take the stand under oath. That's the only way that a claim for focus on Al-Queda before 9/11 can be made. The person who gave the orders would have to swear under oath that the orders he gave focused on Al-Queda.

I don't care what it takes to get Dumbya under oath, we have to do it. Can you imagine the colossal fuck-ups Dumbya would make on the stand under cross?

14. Kerry is clever.
In video of him traveling, he is clearly carrying Clarke's book with him, as if he is reading it during every spare moment. Smart move, actually reading the book before commenting on it. When was the last time you saw a Presidential candidate carrying around a book. Hopefully it starts a trend. I prefer my Presidents to be able to read.

She has lied so many times on tv that someone would nail her. She tells one story on one program, and the 2 months later says the exact opposite.

21. They wouldn't dare charge his with perjury
because then he would get a trial and all his evidence would be out in the open. That would actually put the nail in the coffin when it comes their non action before Sept 11th.

You don't believe Clarke doesn't have copies of things that can and will prove him factual. Of course he does.

25. Hidden Lede
Frist was talking about charging Clarke with perjury for his 2002 testimony when he said Bush doing a good job!!!!

What a precedent that would be.

Then Frist told a reporter that he (Frist) had no personal knowledge whether Clarke's 2002 and 2004 testimony agreed or not. So what's the basis for this perjury talk? What a pig.

30. They will NEVER follow through on this spurious perjury charge.
The whole point of the exercise is to connect Clarke's name with the word "perjury." bushco will soon stop the attacks, but the connection has been made in public, so Rush, Hannity and the other RW scumbags will be free to call Clarke a liar/perjurer/whatever with impunity.

That's how it always works with bushco.
