Which DC Grocery Stores are Union?`

It looks like there is going to be a stricke at Safeway and Giant next week. I'm be damned if I cross their picket line, sooo

What other stores in Dc are unionized? I know Food Lion is not and Walmart? Even if ther ewas one close to me, FORGET IT/. There is no Costco near me. Macgruders is always so dirty, and the staff so rude that I can't believe they are union, they sure don't pay enough to get good staff!!

What about Shopper's Food Warehouse?

but I don't think it is Union.

One time when I was in the check-out line, the cashier told the woman behind me that she would have to get into another line.

The cashier was so upset that she felt the need to apologize to me. (I was just an innocent bystander).

The cashier said that she had accepted the woman's food stamps the week before. It turned out the stamps had expired and when Shoppers discovered this fact, Shoppers deducted the woman's grocery bill from the cashier's pay check.

don't know about whole foods, but I know they treat their people pretty well.
