Now is the time!!!
1. They have tried to portray Clarke as a liar.

http://us.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0104/30/ip.00.html

Aired April 30, 2001 - 17:00 ET

The State Department officially released its annual terrorism report just a little more than an hour ago, but unlike last year, there's no extensive mention of alleged terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden. A senior State Department official tells CNN the U.S. government made a mistake in focusing so much energy on bin Laden and "personalizing terrorism."

still, Secretary of State Colin Powell says efforts to fight global terrorism will remain consistent.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

POWELL: The results are clear: state sponsors of terrorism are increasingly isolated; terrorist groups on under growing pressure. Terrorists are being brought to justice, we will not let up. But we must also be aware of the nature of the threat before us. Terrorism is a persistent disease.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

WOODRUFF: The secretary of state did go on to say that South Asia, particularly Afghanistan, continues to be the focal point for terrorism that is directed against the United States.

2. They have never tired of saying "nobody said 'Imminent threat.'"

http://www.moveon.org/censure/caughtonvideo /

That link shows Rumsfeld getting caught LYING on Face the Nation.

Then there's THIS:

http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2004/03/26/translator/index_np.html

A former FBI wiretap translator with top-secret security clearance, who has been called "very credible" by Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, has told Salon she recently testified to the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States that the FBI had detailed information prior to Sept. 11, 2001, that a terrorist attack involving airplanes was being plotted.

Referring to the Homeland Security Department's color-coded warnings instituted in the wake of 9/11, the former translator, Sibel Edmonds, told Salon, "We should have had orange or red-type of alert in June or July of 2001. There was that much information available." Edmonds is offended by the Bush White House claim that it lacked foreknowledge of the kind of attacks made by al-Qaida on 9/11. "Especially after reading National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice where she said, we had no specific information whatsoever of domestic threat or that they might use airplanes. That's an outrageous lie. And documents can prove it's a lie."

We need to get on the motherfuckers, and not let them go. We have GOT THEM! We have GOT THEM!!!

We cannot be fucking around here, people, WE HAVE GOT THEM!!!

Tell our your friends! Scrounge the internet! This is the time to prove that all the Bush Administration has ever done is cover their own asses; enact their own agenda; and lead America down the road to ruin. We cannot back off. We need to fry their asses. We should settle for nothing less than Impeachment, and trial for war crimes.

Remember, this bastard thought 911 was funny from the get-go: "Lucky me, I hit the trifecta." And he thinks the war in Iraq is funny, based on his WMD "joke" the other day.

HOLD THEIR FEET TO THE FIRE!!!!!! GET RID OF THESE BASTARDS!!!!!

Ashcroft Flying High
WASHINGTON, July 26, 2001

Fishing rod in hand, Attorney General John Ashcroft left on a weekend trip to Missouri Thursday afternoon aboard a chartered government jet, reports CBS News Correspondent Jim Stewart.

In response to inquiries from CBS News over why Ashcroft was traveling exclusively by leased jet aircraft instead of commercial airlines, the Justice Department cited what it called a "threat assessment" by the FBI, and said Ashcroft has been advised to travel only by private jet for the remainder of his term.

2. Well ranted, rocktop! I agree, but there's only one problem...
The "Liberal Media". They're so fucking LIBERAL, that they gloss over the points that could overwhelmingly turn the tide in our favor. It makes me want to puke.

4. We need to find a central, organized spot
where we can assemble the most damaging links to already existing news articles that bear out Clarke's testimony, and make a case that cannot be denied.

I am doing this at Bartcop forum, the wonderful Dumbya Chronicles Board, and over at Arianna Huffington's forum; but there's so many more.

There's so many smart people posting at these boards; we can be stronger, and more convincing than those brain damaged freepers, can't we?

Well, CAN'T WE?

That's what I thought.

8. I will.
Let's really push the Powell/pursuing Osama is a mistake angle, shall we?

They're trying to discredit Clarke.

I say we don't let 'em.

Clarke is the best American to come along in a long time.

7. Do you know anything about...
Mike Vreeland? I came across some information about him today while searching and I must admit this is the forst I've heard of him. Seems he knew ahead of time also.

http://www.fromthewilderness.com/free/ww3/04_04_02_vree_intervw.html

<snip>
April 4, 2002, 2:00 PM PST (FTW) -- If all of its dark alleys were explored, the case of Delmart Edward Joseph "Mike" Vreeland is one which is worthy of a book that would rival "War and Peace." It is a case that has sparked zealous attacks on FTW and me personally, and one which has seriously disturbed many officials in Washington. These attacks are an indication of the threat Vreeland poses to the credibility of the U.S. government. Only one question of any relevance exists. How was this man able to write details that described the events of Sept. 11 while locked in a jail cell, more than a month before the attacks occurred?

It matters little to a housewife in Kansas if Mike Vreeland has a very confusing criminal arrest record -- some of it very contradictory and apparently fabricated -- for a variety of petty criminal offenses including fraud. But it may be a matter of the gravest importance for the same housewife if this man knew accurate information about the attacks, tried to warn both the U.S. and Canadian governments about them, and was ignored. If a crazy man runs up to you on the street and says that a house is on fire with children trapped inside, and you smell smoke, who is the crazy one if you decide not to investigate?

The U.S. Navy says that Vreeland, arrested in Canada on Dec. 6, 2000 and currently fighting a U.S. extradition warrant, was discharged for unsatisfactory performance after only four months of service in 1986. But a growing pile of evidence, much of it filed in court records and undisputed by Canadian or U.S. authorities, establishes clearly that Vreeland was exactly what he says he was -- a spy.

9. Vreeland's story has yet to
be told. He also said that when the shit hit the fan against the Bushies that numerous intel people would come out and tell their story. There were alot of attacks against him as being something less than "upstanding".

So far his predictions have been accurate. Someday, hopefully soon, he will be vindicated......if he is still alive.
