That the families of some of those killed think this either appropriate or necessary just shows them for what they are. They will spend the rest of their lives capitalizing on the misfortune of a family member.
Of course it is not George W. Bush or Condi Rice's fault. Bush gave a great deal of moral support after the tragedy. That's his role. He shouldn't have to verbalize that*he feels their pain* for the rest of his life.
Someone should tell some of those people to suck it up. Life goes on. I know a family who not only lost a member but lost their small business in that area. They do not feel the way those people do.
