Terrific episode of NOW (with Bill Moyers) on PBS tonight.

Bushco's No Child Left Behind "act" is put into its appropriate context and exposed for what it is -- an effort to push the "choice" agenda in education (that's right, vouchers).

As usual, this PBS program does an excellent job of covering the entire issue. Take note all ye media whores -- this is how the press is supposed to function in a democracy. The informative program segment on vouchers does a great job of addressing the issue from various angles.

No will we be surprised to find, however, that Bush the Lesser and the cronies in his administration come off looking like a bunch of douchebags on this issue, regardless of the angle that you look from.

I had no idea that any mention had been previously made to this episode. The program airs on Sundays in my area, and I just caught it for the first time. Thanks a lot for posting those links.
