Is Richard Clarke hitched?
I didn't notice a ring on his finger on MTP.

3. Yes, it does matter.
Because if he's not married, then I want to inform him that I am available.

8. You wouldn't want to be married to him
If you were Clarke's wife you'd be held hostage in the secret underground lair until he publicly stated that Bush* is a great man who was a forceful and decisive leader during our time of crisis. You wouldn't want that, would you?

2. If he isn't, and he's straight, then
I'd marry him in a minute. Or (insert verb here) him, one of the two. But then I wanted to have Barry Scheck's baby after the OJ trial was over with.

A Richard Clarke groupies club, that's the ticket!

9. funny
When I first read this last night I thought you were asking because you were worried the admin might start spreading rumors about his sexuality in order to hurt his credibility.

Then today, I read this and then this. Even if this is true, I don't think they'll go through with it. I just can't imagine that all of W's political advisors have suddenly become completely incompetent and stupid, but hey, who knows...

17. In her very first response Condi mentioned that
there are "personal issues" about Clark. I assumed it meant that he had seen a shrink or had been taking St.John's Wort. This must be it.

20. I got this tip from God_Bush_n_Cheney.
Go to Google.

Type in "George Bush, Victor Ashe, Gay"

If Richard Clarke has a closet, it won't be opened by BFEE.

10. The fact that he isn't married was probably a factor in his coming out
to stand against the Emperor.

His wife and children, by virtue of their nonexistance, are unable to be used as they were against DeIlulio and O'Neill.

These Bushevik Fuckers play as mean as Hitler. Lucky for us they can't get away with it...yet.

13. Good point. I thought O'Neill has
been harassed into silence. He seemed game and then mysteriously got quiet.

Maybe he could marry one of the DU'ers incognito,if doing anything incognito these days with the "Roving" eyes of Big Brother.

24. Wow -- that's a great article --
"For many of his friends, the expectation was that Clarke would always stand up for his convictions, living up to the quote by the Italian poet Dante that he used in his high school yearbook: 'The hottest places in hell are reserved for those, who in a time of great crisis, maintain their neutrality.'"

26. <sigh>...if only....
Thank you for the link RR. This is very sad...

<snip>He has said he was a registered Republican, but in recent years has been unenrolled. An admirer of former Republican Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush, Clarke seemed especially impressed with Bill Clinton, whose analytical command of the issues rivaled his own.

"Clinton sought to hold every issue before him like a Rubik's Cube, examining it from every angle to the point of distraction for his staff," Clarke wrote admiringly, later saying he often wondered how different the world would be if Clinton, not Bush, had been president on Sept. 11, 2001.

29. Couldn't our time be just as well spent talking
about.......

SIBEL EDMONDS?

I think it only fair that the boys also get to talk about their idol.

Well, I can't speak for the rest of boys, but this woman is so absolutely hot!

I always liked her, but when I heard that interview I realized how absolutely brilliant and compassionate and courageous and attractive she was. Not neccessarily in that order. She really knows how the system works considering she was just hired out of the blue as a translator. Her genuineness regarding the plight of the 9/11 widows could never be faked the way she expresses it.

Anyway I could go on but words won't suffice.

:bounce: she makes me

33. Clarke reminds me alot of a friend of mine...and that Clinton thing
I think Clarke probably saw someone alot like himself in Clinton, when you compare those biographys.

And I had a freind in high school who was lot like Clarke...used to read Foreign Affairs on the schoolbus, and was a devasting debater.

You can tell Clarkes debate skills on these talk shows. Hes really prepared and knows how to thrust and parry .....

It's good to be prepared.

From Krugman's editorial in today's NYTimes:

But other journalists apparently remain ready to be used. On CNN, Wolf Blitzer told his viewers that unnamed officials were saying that Mr. Clarke "wants to make a few bucks, and that his own personal life, they're also suggesting that there are some weird aspects in his life as well."

Fuckin' shameless, bottom-feeding creeps.

For the interested, Wonkette has some info on this as well:
