The Conscience Of A Liberal
Edited on Tue Apr-06-04 12:43 AM by The Democratic Kid
By Senator Paul Wellstone (2001) http://www.wellstone.org Has anyone read this book? I have and I think all democrats should take the time and read this book, then go out and tell others what they have learned. This book will arm you with the knowledge and the truth you must have when battling it out with the Republicans. Here is but one of the great things the Senator has said, Politics is not about money or power, games,or winning for the sake of winning.Politics is about the improvement of people's lives, lessening human suffering, advancing the cause of peace and justice in our country and in the world." Who do you think best fits to what you just read John Kerry or W.Wrong Way Bush? Paul wellstone was a champion for the sick, poor, young and for health care reform. Take Care, The Democratic KID...

3. He wore the "liberal" label proudly...
as we all should. I hope we'll someday reclaim that word, take back from the extreme right the language of American politics, and restore the true center of our political spectrum.
