1. No, but they think we are celebrating it
which proves that they can't read.

2. That's rich since many of us
did not want this war because death shouldn't be visited upon our troops for a doctrine or hegemony. They are for defending the constitution of the United States. This doesn't fit.

4. They have been watching this closely
and feel we should strike Iraqis hard and wipe them all out and forget about collateral damage to civilians.

16. Especially when they talked for so long...
...about how it was such a good thing that we got rid of Saddam for him (this, of course, being after the first explanation for the war fell through and people started pretending it wasn't the reason to begin with).

So tell me why we're there, FReepers? Keep in mind this is the third explanation.

7. Today, on a local AM talk show a RW called in and said that the
"hard left was gleeful".

How sick. I haven't seen any glee today, just a lot of sadness, anger and regret.

8. Talking points have been circulated!

While watchibng Crossfire a while ago, Novack said the same thing to the Democratic senator , Wynn.

Kkkarl must have blast-faxed all his minions of evil to ensure they all work this kinda bullshit in to their remarks.
That is pretty damn low.

15. I couldn't believe that!
And I couldn't believe how gracefully the Senator handled it. I am afraid I would have said, "Are you out of your mind???" and walked off the set.

The Senator showed amazing class not to spit in Novak's face. How in the hell does a tv pundit get to talk to a United States Senator like that?

9. Oh, come on...
Anyone know how freepers are responding to the horrible news today

I don't visit that place very often, but I don't have to. They are saying that we need to blast the hell out of Iraq and be done with it, and if the liberal whiners would just stop raggin' on Bush we could have been done with this business months ago.

I mean really... do you need to ask?

10. what a fantastic opportunity to slap down political opponents again
Novak can't wait to use the patriot card--anybody that says anything
negative about the Shrub or anything vaguely connected to him must be destroyed.

Yes, The Chimp is that weak and pathetic--can't stand on his own or any principle he holds, so the messengers must all be killed, preferably before anybody hears the message.

I guess that shows who's really thinking about the welfare of the soldiers--the RWers would rather slap at Kerry than admit we need help in Iraq.

They seem to feel this war is being waged "too politically correct".

18. A bit of involuntary comedy
"Stupid idiot. The 'mission accomplished' banner refers to the completion of the ship's mission, not the end of the Iraq conflict"

Lamest. Excuse. Ever. (LOL)

17. One freeper thinks that the violence is due to Kerry and the Democrats!
How pinheaded can you get?????????????????? This is the same line of crap that used to be spewed out about opposition to war in Vietnam.

Believe me, freeps -- the Iraqi people couldn't give a hoot in hell about what Americans -- *any* Americans -- think. They just want this foreign, decidedly non-altruistic, occupying presence out of their country.

Does anyone else think all this criticism of the Iraqi war by the Dems and Kerry have emboldened the insurgiants and the militant Shiites.

Realizing there's "in fighting" over the war in the US, they may be trying to make more Americans question the war.

IMHO, the whole bunch of them, Kerry, Kennedy, Daschle, etc. should be publicly reprimanded, and told to shut up about the war, because it may be leading to more violence in Iraq.

Funny how you can almost trace the upsurgence of violence in Iraq to when Kerry finally secured the probably nomination of the Dems.
