The PDB of 8/6/01

I just finished watching the Capital Gang and do not understand the insistance of Kate O'Bern that the release of the PDB PROOVES that the Democrats have been playing politics with this 9/11 commission because there were no specifics in the memo that the President failed to act upon. HUH? Well I guess I must be ignorant because in my mind, the very LEAST the President should have done was ended his vacation, got his cabinet together and demand that they start "Shaking The Tree's" to see what they could come up with like Clinton did with the millenium threat. To suggest that this memo absolves the president is nothing but partisan because it ignores the obvious!!!! I also think this memo shows that either Condi Rice is ignorant or a liar as this was not just some historical document that should have been dismissed. Someone please straighten me out if my thought process is misguided and Ms O'Bern is correct.
