"Submit or die" <-- This was the choice put forth by a Marine commander. If the roles were reversed — a foreign country invaded U.S., toppled Bush, but wanted to control government — what would be your response.

To clear up confusion on edit, the country invading would NOT have our best interests at heart. They would exploit our resources, but they wouldn't kill and torture us outright.

As a Mexican-American this kind of question is wierd in a way, didnt the US already do this to Mexico.

For the most part most of my people seem to not have a problem with this.

The poll question is limited to invasion by only one foreign country. In that situation I would resist. However, the most likely scenario for the US to be invaded would be if the rest of the world decides to apply the Bush Doctrine to the US. In that situation I am less sure of how I would react.

In my opinion, anyone who would submit willfully gets exactly what they deserve. And I suppose this is what is happening in Iraq, to some extent. There is nothing wrong with a person loving their country enough to want to fight for it, a concept that some may have trouble understanding, including bush, etc.
