Can someone tell me about Ed Schultz...?

I am listening to Talk Left on Sirius and I have never heard this guy before but I'm starting to like him...can someone give me more info on him or at least a personal opinion about him...?

I hear him on Air America, but apparently he's syndicated all over the country. I've also heard him on my husband's Sirrius "Left" station. :thumbsup:

5. Randi Rhodes says "Ed's a Republican" ...

She said that on her show the other day. Ed himself says he used to be a Republican, before he came to his senses and came over from the dark side. I don't think Ed's a Republican, I don't think he sounds like a Republican, but if he's a Republican, I wish we had a lot more Republicans just like him. Ed's on at the same time as Randi. I like Randi a lot more, but I listen to Ed sometimes too.

7. Randi Rhodes calls him an opportunist...he was a repug but switched

over--more for the monetary benefits than anything else. I personally have not listened to him but I saw interviews on the Today Show and GMA a month or two ago when his show started. I wondered at that time why no one here had ever mentioned him. I'm suspicious.

I'm not sure what she said. Based on what you said, she should be wrong. He quit being a Republican a while ago and just had a local Fargo, ND show for many years. My mom has listened to that show for many years. I don't see how he would have planned that long ago to switch and then somehow have a national show and make money years down the road.
