Why is it taking MS so long to count votes

It's already 1 AM here on the East Coast and their polls closed at 8 PM our time here.

And they are only 75% done with the count for their Gubernatorial primary. Even though Musgrove is winning decisively why are they taking so long?

1. A lot of the voting here is still done with

regular paper ballots. Besides, we don't get in much of a hurry to do anything down here.
