Question about Iraq

Question about Iraq
If there are these so called "terrists" and "evildoers" in Iraq.....what is going to happen if we do succeed? What happens when American companies start shipping up to date technology into the country? I know that Iraq isn't still in the stone age, but won't this new found freedom bring a rise to some form of capitalism? Won't their economy boom?

My overall question is:

Wouldn't the new found democracy and flourishing economy make it easier for terrorists to strike the US?
