What is wrong with Kerry’s past stance?
One have post a link to the Kerry’s testimony of the 22 April 1971.
Here is the link:

I read it all and I find it very honest and interesting, and sadly perfectly adapted to the current situation. And not only about war and international policy, but he made also very pertinent comments about media and internal policy (at least from a foreign point of view). It was a humanist and pragmatic position, and Kerry can be very proud of it.

Then why Kerry can’t make campaign on this base? As far that I know (and I believe that I’m alone to have this feeling), his present position is a bit different, more moderate could we say.

My question is not about Kerry himself, but about the fact than Americans could not support such position. If it’s true, I wondering witch point could be unpopular in present USA, and why.
