OK I bought a Sirius Sattelite Radio

Im from Chicago and Air America went off today so I bought a sattelite reciever!

It works! The auto mount is hard and kindof cheesey, I haven't got it installed yet. The receiver is cool... I could have gotten more expensive models. Also you can hook it up to any sterio system. I haven't checked out the music yet.

1. The boom box is nice and the reciever moves from car to home.

2. I'm going out tomorrow to purchase a Sirius satellite radio.

The main reason is to listen to Air America Radio. I live in NC and have to drive 30 min to work and cannot stand listening to another minute of the John Boy and Billy show.

3. We use it mostly for home....having to buy a roof antenna.

$70 plus installation....not about to climb on roof. LOL

Reception has been poor even if we put the attached antenna outside the window. Decided it was worth it to get the roof antenna.

I have the big JVC unit and have yet to figure out how to mount it in the car with the suction cup mount. If it's up on the windshield it blocks my forward view enough to be very dangerous.
