while doing various chores yesterday, I had the tube on in the background

I caught a "snippet" on CNN about the "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" story

it was reported (at least this is what I think I heard) that bush said (paraphrased) "...yes, I did say mission accomplished, but I never said case closed..."

anyone else hear it, read this? link? or was it just my imagination going wild?

Bush also pointed out that in his speech last year he said "that there was still difficult work ahead."

but then it may have said by a "talking head" or a member of the GOP choir --- not sure, I was busy doing things in the house when I heard it...

so it may be a case of having "old ears" on my part and I "mis-heard"
