Tried to explain to a local that we dont need to be in the middle east and that most of our oil is imported from mexico, venezuela, colombia (if they dont fill the tanks with cocaine instead - that got me a glare)finland and a couple of arab states.
Furthermore we have alienated venezuela when their government was overthrown and condi et al approved it then back off in a hurry when that blow up in her silly face.
BUT, and here is the dilly folks, the cretin looks at me and says "I dont care if those VENEZELAN ARABS AND THE REST OF THE MIDDLE EAST does with their govts. They touch our oil we keep their ass."
I couldnt resist "Oh yes just like we are kicking them in Iraq right now."
