Leslie Stahl in a conversation looking "coy," and Ralph Nader wih a red haired "high power guy" (looks familiar but don't know who he is).

Camera pans to "dude with dreadlocks" probably some Media Mogul head at 22 years old and a bored lady scratching her nose in the crowd and "adjusting her bodice of her strapless gown."

I enjoy seeing the clothes.

Student who won the $6,000 a year scholarship won the award for praising Bush! They didn't even read the whole essay1 Guess it's not about the students but about the "glitz." Hypocracy!

Now giving "Smith Award" for WH Correspondent who "Excelled in the job."

Giving it to someone who was aboard Air Force One with Chimp..."The Iraq

31. There was a clip of a great Clinton Joke: Guy falls off cliff and grabs

little tree and he thinks he's okay, but as he looks up he sees the roots start to separate and give way...and he looks up and says: "Oh God, WHY ME! And God says: "I really didn't like you, anyway."

I think I corrupted this joke of Clintons..(not good with punch lines, but hope you got the drift.) The Press Corp laughed but not as hard as I would have if I'd been there, because it's it's a really funny story, and I think it was probably told when Clinton had his "Monica Problems." But this whole thing shows the Press loved Reagan more than Clinton. But then.....we here knew that, didn't we.

Still I loved the joke. I've been there myself. "Lord, WHY ME!" :D

whatever. I thought he applause was subdued and some in the audience, with Henry Kissinger, Tweety, Terry Moran, Madelaine Albright, Bill Schneider and the rest looked bored.

He managed to stand and give a speech about WWII heros and then went into a pitch for Tilman the football player.

All I can say is that the read the speech, got Presidential applause and a few gawking with adoration, and mild applaus.

I had to give up and turn it off when Leno came on. I don't like him or watch him. So...that's it for me.

Glad I got to see the clothes and hear the Clinton joke, though. :-)'s
