Is Osma Bin Laden working in and "though" Iraq now
Edited on Sun May-02-04 12:41 AM by devrc243
that Saddam is gone and we have opened the door to terroism? I think many of us know this as a "given" however, the dynamics are somewhat complicated. It sickens me how the Iraqi people fear us as bad as they did Saddam. What a horrible and caotic mess...Bush just wouldn't take "NO WAR" as a solution, so now we have this HUGE catastrophie.

Before we invaded, Saddam wouldn't have let bin laden within a hundred miles of Iraq. Watching a rerun of Hardball with Matthews interviewing Rumsfield, it became clear that there was NO after war plan, just total "Saddam defeat and occupation," that is, until the so-called "goal" was accomplished by Cheney and Bush. Well, the "kink" and caos we see going on in Iraq with their "plan" is something they never expected, much less worked towards on how to defend. It was all about toppling Saddam and containing Iraq.

I watched Rumsfield's nose grow a hundred inches as he tossed and turned to Chris' surprisedly good questions.

With all that said, I wondered how much of bin laden has already moved into Iraq. So fighting "terroism" with the "invasion" of Iraq, is how we haved "helped" the Iraqi people..." yeah right...and we as Americans are so much safer as well...yeah right again...:eyes:

1. Al Qaeda has had a part in post-war Iraq.
There isn't any evidence that Osama had direct contact with those who have involved themselves in much of the resistance, but it wouldn't surprise me if he was involved himself.

2. Yeah, I agree
and after Rummy talk with Chris, it appeared to me he has no idea how bad this has become and what his role is in making it this bad.

What a constant "apologetic" for his boss...sad, cause he puts his boss before the American people.
