Kerry Tells of Flying a Jet Over Israel

WASHINGTON (AP) - John Kerry wasn't kidding when he told the Anti-Defamation League that he had a different perspective on Israel. Probably no one else in the room has seen the country upside down from an Israeli Air Force jet.

Kerry said Monday that Tel Aviv kept denying his request to fly one of their planes, but that the colonel who was showing him around Israel during a 1991 visit not only got him into a trainer, but let him take the controls.

musta been really hard to try snorting and flying at the same time, AND keep putting the quarters in the money slot too, all at the same time!

2. I saw that - can you imagine Bush trying to string those words

together. Forget about Bush ever having such an experience, he couldn't even string those words together if he was reading it - like a bed time story.

It was a telling speech. Kerry certainly has a handle on Israel and the world condition.

Bush knows how to clear brush in the heat in Texas.

3. I will never force Israel to make concessions...

"I want you to know that as President, it will be my promise to the people of Israel that I will never force Israel to make concessions that will force Israel to compromise its security," Sen. Kerry told a gathering of more than 500 leaders at the ADL's National Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C.
