There is no war!
If we left, we would not loose anything. No need to surrender. No need to give up territory. Communism would not be the chosen Ideology. They would not be able to strike back.

So why is this called a war? The so-called enemy are the citizens we freed from Saddam. That was settled. These folks are only fighting to get the U.S. out of their country.

Solution: Leave. Award rebuilding contracts to Iraqi and other Arab contractors. Give Palestinians jobs helping to rebuild Iraq. Hell, they could drive there. If this happened, I would for once fell good about paying taxes.

3. Well this neglects the point....
...Bush and his billionaire buddies want the oil that is under Iraq. The military needs the oil and the strategic position that Iraq represents in the middle east. The Christian fundamentalists believe that the Iraqi geography is their manifest destiny according to scripture and they also want the hearts and the minds of the Iraqis so that they can be fulfilled in that destiny.

Greed, security and ambition. Nobody in power is ready to leave, but they certainly are more than happy to have others pay for this folly.
