Get off our rumps right now and do something...
Write an editorial, leave pamphelts, flyers, organize, network, give what money we can... How do compete with 60 million in lies? By 25,000 DUers doing the above as much as we can. So, stop bitching and sitting on your ass talking and join me. I am going to yahoo groups and asking them to join the campaign/providing a link... I am clicking off of DU and doing it RIGHT NOW, join me...

1. Ok!
I just have to find some good pamphlets to leave all around. Unfortunately I've lived in the same neighborhood for the past 17 years (my whole life) and people know me. They'd figure it out. Hmmm... Well, I'm definately going to campaign for Salazar.

3. thanks! I have wanted to say this many times
there are so many ways we can all "do our bit" to make this election a landslide.

Here are some suggestions:

Spend 15 minutes EVERY day writing a letter or calling someone (legislators, media outlets whoever) on whatever topic has your hair on fire that day. Just read DU and find the issue that makes you crazy and DO SOMETHING!!

Give one day a month or a couple hours a week or what ever you can spare to you local party. They always need help (most state and county party offices are run by volunteers with only 1 or 2 paid personnel on staff) Commit a day or a 4 hour stint and answer phones, man voter registration drives, stuff envelopes WHATEVER!

If you have a little more time to spare, go to your local district and sign up to be a precinct committee person then walk your neighborhood for the party and the candidates

If you don't want to join the "party politics" then get signed up at MoveOn.org and help them with their issues. They do a fine service and are not allied with the Kerry campaign or the Democratic Party

I have heard too often from too many people "But what can one person (me) do?" Well I felt the same way 5 months ago but decided I couldn't just sit on the couch and scream at the TV anymore, so I got involved. and so far I have

registered 27 new voters
collected $65 in "Clean Election" $5 contributions
got 37 signatures to add 2 Democrats to my local elections

It ain't much, but it's more than the Party would have had if I hadn't got involved. The best part is I have met some wonderful people in my community who care about the same things I do.

Try it --- You'll be AMAZED!
