Boy this Torture Scandal came out of nowhere!
WOW! Out of all the crooked misdeeds from the Bush Administration in the past 3 years, this one's some serious shit. Hell...a dozen or so pics and a un-read report has sure shaken the foundation of the Neo-Cons and Bush.

BUT !!!! That aint nothin according to Sy Hersh... If what Sy is telling us about Videos, more pics etc pans out, that could be game, set and match for the evil regime. AND you know what..I hope it does!

2. What is even more ironic is they should have known back in January.
I noticed in sniveling Scott's press conference today, he would not touch the events that led up to this scandal. Everytime a reporter would ask something to the effect of "well, if the pResident was told of this in January, was he inquizitive and follow up?" Scott must have said a million times, "we are focused on the future". He would not go there.

That is bad news. We have just opened the pandora's box of inactivity on the part of the Commander in Theif. He knew. He did nothing.

9. They had Peter Pace (the second in command in the army) saying
on a televised interview that Bush and Rumsfeld knew from the beginning.

11. There isn't a single doubt in my mind of that.
This is a case of total and complete inaction. Turn away and pretend you don't know how bad it is and then show outrage when the truth comes out.

This is MO for this misadministration.

17. How may more disasters need to happen on his watch before
people wake up? Sadly, they are talking more terror attacks in our country and people will still be asleep. The "we are safer" will fly with the wind and most people will not realize it.

If you ask me, he totally sucks as a "war pResident".

4. It came out of nowhere because

they didn't see anything wrong with this kind of activity. They are so blinded to what is right and wrong that I'm certain that they condoned and encouraged this type of behavior.

I am hoping and praying that this will open Guantanamo right up. Some *serious* shit was going on there, if there is any evidence then even a presidential pardon may not protect the people in charge.

This is standard procedure . . . that's why the soldiers in this photo seem so unfazed by what is going on . . .

5. They all come out of no where, and they go away
just as fast.

I want to believe something will destroy these criminals once and
for all, but I'll believe it when the frog walks start.

Rumors are flying about "dead young boys."

13. Just goes to show that in this age of short attention spans
there are only two things that get people's attention - scandals involving sex and scandals/tragedies caught on tape.

Sad but true. If there were no public pictures, yet the same information, this wouldn't be nearly as big.

14. If it weren't for the photographs this administration would have
kept cruising along without changing a thing. They wiould have kept it hidden.
