National Outrage Over Tortures: Better Late Than Never, I guess...
But the truth is that the same or GREATER degree of outrage should have been there when the SCOTUS handed the presidency to bush. Taken in isolation, that illegal act did far more damage to this country and the world than did any of the numerous illegal and inhumane acts that bushco has launched in the last 3.5 years, including the disgusting torture and abuse that took place in bushco's gulags.

It's a sad fact that had the Congress, the media and the American people stood up to the coup in Dec 2001, the tortures would have never occurred in the first place (feel free to extrapolate what else wouldn't have happened).

It's ironic that - by falsely and ignobly holding the protections of ONE person more important than the Constitution itself - the SCOTUS' decision in Bush v Gore has removed the equal protection of the many and has led DIRECTLY to the deaths and tortures of thousands of individuals around the world.

But the worm has turned. And while hope springs eternal, we must acknowledge not only the battles ahead, but wormwood and gall that we as a country will be consuming for decades, all thanks to an idiot who believes he gets his marching orders from the tooth fairy.

1. I find it absurd that any of the repugs pretend to be outraged
the DNC and Kerry need to do a goggle search on these assholes by name and they will find all of them and most of the DINOs a year ago or so were saying that torture was a legitimate tool to fight terrorism.
Please god someone do the research and put these hypocritical morans in their place.

2. The BFEE has tried really hard to dehumanize the enemy
but these pictures put a face to it.

this war will never become popular again & Bush will soon learn that if he doesn't know it already.

But on June 30th, he has his out. He WILL "cut & run," and ironically, it will be the right thing to do. Kerry has to be VERY careful about what he says he'd do.
