Kerry on Tavis Smiley show last night.
DId anyone catch this interview. I'm a morning person and it comes on late in my area- I watched a replay of Mclaughlin report which was interesting McLauglin is changing. I used to think he was reactionary rightwing-but the last few times I caught the show it seems he actually wants to get his panel of nuts to actually debate. Pat Buchanan and Tony Snow would not admit that the Iraqi abuse-torture is an atrocity but still on a scale of 1 to 10 they rated it as a 7.

After Mac there were 2 Tavis Smiley shows back to back- The first was Debbie Reynolds and daughter Carrie Fisher - the were a stitch - the second was a sit down interview with Kerry- I'm posting a link to the transcript which I need to read myself. Kerry is such a breath of air after all the oxygen has been suck out of American and my beloved Texas by the *ite administration. He is open where they are secretive to a fault. I really don't think that Kerry has anything to hide. *'s record spending on defining Kerry in negative terms is not working. * is very afraid to face Kerry in open debate because he couldn't do it. I was impressed that Kerry is able to articulate his points and actually answer questions off the cuff. This is something that * is totally incapable of doing as we all know. He gives no press conferences with real open questions because he can't come up with anything intellegent. Can you imagine * facing the kind of questioning that RumDumb did in the Senate yesterday? If would be fun to watch him squirm under the war hero, Mccain or Hillary Clinton or the great Robert Byrd who shone even with a sore throat.

I would like to see changes in our govennment where the president can be forced to face the hard questions of our legislative branch just as the PM in Britain does in Parlement. Let's make it weekly-like every Wednesday morning so that it won't fall into the dead news cycle of the weekend.

Enough from me - here's the link to the interview:
