I didn't realise they interviewed Private England on 60 Minutes II, and she said that there's a whole lot of worse things done, photographs taken, etc. I can't believe how smug and unremorseful she seemed. (Ve vere only followink ze orders) If that's the case, this might be subject to international war crimes tribunals (at least I hope so). Because this shit has to STOP.

1. Out of control
I can't believe what's going on lately. This is so out of control. It's scary to think about how much goodwill and sympathy we had from the world after 9/11 and Bush exploited & destroyed all of it. This is such a mess, such a cycle of violence and hatred.

4. Obviously a stupid little bitch.
Her lawyers must be dumbasses too. They should tell her to be weeping and crying "they made me do it!" Kee-rist, she even had the ignorance to claim what she did was justified. Save it for the courtroom, bimbo, you are killing your public image.

5. All four gave me the creeps
the girl who shot the video, the two (liars) in the sitting interview (that guy had the most ice cold steel blue eyes I've ever seen) and then Lynddie. They all seemed brain damaged and just plain stupid. The thought of any of these psychopaths having ultimate control over me is terrifying.

6. You'd have loved to hear Tom Bernard of the KQRS 92.5 FM Morning show said
What a stinker. He's all pissed because we libruls are mad over the abuse of a few prisoners while not saying anything about this Berg chap, who was murdered.

As usual, he's got very selective reasoning. We liberals hate what's happened to Berg as much as everything else that has happened. He's blindly putting everything through a polarized lens. He's not seeing everything. He chooses not to. He'd vote for Bush* again in an attosecond despite whining on the radio about how religious the * staff is and how he'd rather accept that. (Which is great, for if * remains in power, KQRS morning show will have to drop the sleaze or else get keelhauled by Ashcroft's loony goons. And I think more people tune in to Barnyard for the sleaze than anything else. Even I like him until he opens his yap about his blind politicking.)

Geez, "death or dishonor." Quite a poignant phrase. Not to mention the physical torture...

Barnyard clearly has forgotten all the 60 Mins and 20/20 and Dateline and other shows showing native Iraqi who openly spoke up against the US shortly after the "war" began. The "war" has been nothing but a shambles and Bush* has created a lot more terrorists. Barnyard just doesn't understand this basic concept called "cause and effect". He thinks the US has the right to do what it wants, when it wants to, and have no consequences. (He probably doesn't care about the massive spending either.)

Violence begets violence. The US started this shit, Tommy's got to realize that we can't go around doing what we want and expect other people to sit back and do nothing. Sheesh, we're not all Americans, some people on this planet are evolved...

I wish he'd lose his job. Then he might change his tune and become a Democrat again. But, as with Normie Coleman, we don't want the fucker back. He's sleaze, out for his big fat worthless overpaid self.

A bit more polite, but stressing the aforementioned points.

7. the smugness
I actually took it as aimed at those "higher up in her chain of command," as in, "you fuckers think I'm going to take the fall for this? I will sell all your asses out."

She made it clear what and, more importantly, who she knows. She definitely seems more interested in saving her own ass than she does in revealing any of that, though. I'm guessing her attorney made it clear to her this kind of talk would help her case and so she felt somewhat powerful, like she's got all the cards and will likely get off light.

Maybe a bit of an overanalysis, but that's what I got from it.

8. I didn't see the program
but I saw what the U.S. military did to my brother when he was in Vietnam. They get brainwashed. You can blame them up to a point, but just remember that they have also been brainwashed. A person with a weak will and not much moral fortitude is bound to crack.

12. TomDelay
House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, R-Texas, said he thought "some people are overreacting. The people who are against the war are using this to their political ends," he said.

No, ya moron. Overreacting is how you slugs reacted during the bogus impeachment hearings!
