1. I don't think Buchanan has ever been...
a big fan of Bushie and the Neo-Conservatives. He is probably relishing the opportunity to say, "I told you so."

2. hell froze over when I found out he was against the Iraqi war
pigs were flying all around me. I HATE that this administration has me agreeing with Pat Buchanan of all people. And now that Tucker Carlson has finally seen the light, our little odd club is growing everyday.

There's gotta be a joke in there somewhere...like, what does the Pope, Pat Buchanan, and Ralph Nadar have in common??? Okay, not funny, but I'm not a comedian so it's okay.

3. Agreed -
NEOCON = NEONAZI

I can at least stomach some conservatives, like Giuliani or Snowe.

I can respect a guy like McCain

I find myself agreeing with Buchanan more than I would like sometimes

But, these scumbag pigs that are now running the country are pissing off both the Libertarian Right as well as the MAJORITY of the nation that voted for Gore last time around.

8. true....
there's a HUGE difference between conservative and neocon. I often disagree with conservatives but I can understand their view (although Buchanan goes waay off the deep end when it comes to immigration imo) but neocons are beyond comprehension...I think it's the moral relativism that trips me up with these people.

As for his other policies, I have no use.

His analysis on IraqNam is precisely right.

5. He's in a different realm from the neocons
I remember feeling very happy hearing he spoke out against the war before it started. I'm worlds apart from the vast majority of what he believes and stands for but with this, he's always been right on.

11. Pat's bottom line: he'll vote for bush and probably campaign
for him as well.

That's all you need to know.
