C-Span: 9:10 Rich Lowry , National Review:ELITE conservatives
have doubts about Bush. But ANY REAL conservative knows that Bush is miles better than Kerry...
Doubts that Kerry is going to win... he just had a very bad month.
Responding to a caller that said Bush was a criminal: "that is the problem with the liberals: hate and gleeful about our troubles"

Answering a question about Bush*'s lack of intelligence. Kerry could write a better essay on world politics but Bush is very smart.

8. Hey Richie Boy. Call Me And We'll Debate
I'm not misinformed. Bush is a moron. So are you, Richie. Want to debate? I'll have you crying, under the table, in the fetal position.

Rich Lowry is a buffoon. I know that for sure too. I've read his pieces, and i've heard him speak.

not a back slapper (my comment: this is good).
Bush is a lot more likable.
Pollier (the woman suppossedly having an affair with Kerry) said there was no affair. The New York magazine is going to have a piece on this?

Oh, that's... erm... rich, coming from a guy who uncorked a shitstorm when he mused out loud about nuking Mecca and Medina ("Mecca seems extreme, of course, but then again few people would die and it would send a signal. Religions have suffered such catastrophic setbacks before.") on National Review's blog.

20. Welfare results: democrats and liberals are trying to obstruct
the efforts to send single mothers to the work force. You know, this is contradictory: they want mothers who can afford it to stay home and take care of their children. Poor mothers must work at jobs where they cannot afford childcare....well, I am depressed enough, I am not going any further with this.

The good will of the world because of 9/11 sympathy was not going to last (so apparently then it was OK to destroy it as fast as possible).

The international policy disaster: Powell's fault because he does not defend Bush* enough because he does not believe in the policy.

The outing of Plame: innocently done and it is an anthill made into a mountain.

The Red Cross reports... poo poo.

34. And I Can Prove It!
I've got the published article to prove it. I've also got the published article to prove that we're not out of it yet, either. Both were peer reviewed. Both were accepted to the journals.

Anyone who says the recession started earlier than 2Q01 and ended already is WRONG & WRONG!

31. What a little toad!!
I can't believe his response to the Vietnam vet who called in. It seems the new line is to mischaracterize what Kerry said ("slandered all veterans") then accuse those who back him up of being "morally complicit" in war crimes they knew of for not reporting them to superior officers!! That was *never* what Kerry and the VVAW were about. It was not about going after the soldiers!! They are going to use this line, accusing those who speak up and going after them themselves, to intimidate them from telling the truth -- "You knew, you should have told." What BS. These jerks will stop at nothing.

37. Lamb is a smart person. How does he get rid of the slime that
must accumulate all over his hands from just handling the NY Post and the Washington Times??? Those are, almost exclusively, the "news" and "opinion" sources he cites.
Then he brings people like Midge whatshername, her spawn Podhoretz, the National Review people, to provide "intelligent comentary".
I am grateful to him for starting C-Span...but man, oh man, it looks like it is almost impossible for him to provide balance on Fridays.

43. "Gleeful" ??????
Damn right I'm gleeful but not about the war, nor the abuse scandal, the beheading of Berg, nor the death and maiming of both our military and the Iraqi civilians and the loss of our support throughout the world, etc.

I am "gleeful," because the crap is finally hitting the fan and all attempts by this administration and the "journalists," like Lowry just reflect them as they truly are: incompetant, greedy, and the liars and windbags that they actually are. Fair and honest Republicans are waking-up and are finding that the Emperor has no clothes.

The callers supporting Bush and Lowry are obviously ill-informed and apparently voicing what the Lowry, and Limbaugh's spew out on a daily basis. They are probably very nice people but they are unable to deal with all the tradgedy that thier leader has wrought.
