Another misleading poll on CNN!
Edited on Wed May-19-04 12:59 PM by napi21
"Will the prices at the pump change your vote for President?"

This is another question that gives misleading results. If I say NO, it looks like I might still support Bush no matter what. If I vote YES it sounds like I wouldn't vote for Bush because he hasn't forced prices down.

7. No, CNN folks are not "plain dumb". They are more concerned
Edited on Wed May-19-04 01:30 PM by phoebe
about money than truth. That goes for 95% of the media in this country - cable, tv, newspapers, magazines, publishing houses, radio, etc.

Corporate media is owned by 3-4 companies, dominated by men who have irrefutable ties to this administration and who support its agenda. Why the surprise at skewed polls when the "news" and much of the information you are given is also skewed?

3. What kind of idiot votes "Yes" on this?
Edited on Wed May-19-04 12:54 PM by Blue-Jay
If you're so shallow that the price of gas will change your vote, you probably shouldn't vote.

OTOH, if it gets Kerry some more support, I'll welcome the idiots with open arms. Still idiots, though.

EDIT: oops! <chuckle> Sorry about that, dude. <snarf>

5. I see it as 31% will change their vote to support Kerry
Maybe independents who needed one more reason to switch from Bush to Kerry?

I understood "change your vote for President" to mean "change my vote for either Kerry or Bush. I voted No because no way in Hell would I have ever voted for that incompetent a**hole that we call President at this time.

6. Very misleading poll
This is a strange poll in that most of the people voting against Bush have plenty of other reasons in addition to gas prices.
