Why does Bush keep pretending that his "Energy Plan" will lower gas prices
I mean let's think about this for a second. Even if George got the green light to start drilling in ANWR today, they would have to build a network of oil platforms, pipelines, roads, and support facilities.

Unless they could have all of this done by sometime next week, I just don't see how Bush's energy plan would be any help to us with the current gas prices.

2. Because he wants to drill the Alaskan reserves and all the other
pointless travesties he proposes, like invading Iraq and Afghanistan, overthrowing Venezuela, etc. You know, the usual oil baron's desires.

5. His energy plan
he intends to give all the energy owned by the taxpayers to energy cos. to sell back to us. Most energy cos. dont even pay the royalties they owe for oil extracted from government land.

6. And to think...
a slight increase in miles per gallon capacity of new cars could be much more beneficial than drilling for more oil in Alaska

7. Because his base will believe
he's an honest god fearing man who never tells a lie or misleads and because his base is made up of willfully ignorant, deliberately mislead people who don't know any better.
