Zig Zag Zell

That's what one of the readers of the Atlanta Journal Constitution wrote in response to Zell Millers "Kerry is a dangerous man" comments to the GOP.

I'm still laughing. It's the greatest name I've heard for Zell!

This guy went on to itemize Zell's changes over the years and ended by saying "Miller has managed to be on every side of every issue in the past 30 years!"

There were a total of 5 letters to the AJC regarding Zell, and not one was complimentary.

One reader listed the lack of jobs, corp. outsourcing, the World hates us, we invaded a nation without cause and 800 Americans are dead, and Zell says Kerry is dangerous???

Another reader titled his letter "Sit, Zell! Good dog. :Zell should retire now, return to his beloved front porch and quit embarrassing his fellow Georgians."

And the last one mentioned that Zell accused Kerry of being from Taxxachusetts. He gave the stats on Georgians pay more in taxes than Ma., their tax code is son complicated it ranks 25th for Business friendlyness and Ma. ranks 12th, and for every $1 Ga. sends to Wa. they get back $1.01, Ma. loses a quaarter. "Three strikes you're out Zell!"

I'm so excited to see that there are other Georgians who feel the same way about this idiot that I do!!!

P.S. somewhere else in Sunday's AJC there was the quip about both parties due for a big jump in average I.Q. when Zell switches to Republican.

2. Did you also see the cartoon on the Opinion page?

There's a mother and dad sitting reading the paper, and their little girl is holding her hand over the speaker part of the phone, and she says "It's Bush. Can I be Iraq's President?"

4. "Zig Zag"

has been Zell's unofficial nickname since he first ran for Governor in 1990. I believe Johnny Isakson's campaign coined the name. I'm no fan of Isakson, but it's a funny name.
