Scary Herbert article: America being led by an Evil Force?
"There's a terrible sense of dread filtering across America at the moment and it's not simply because of the continuing fear of terrorism and the fact that the nation is at war. It's more frightening than that. It grows out of the suspicion that we all may be passengers in a vehicle that has made a radically wrong turn and is barreling along a dark road, with its headlights off and with someone behind the wheel who may not know how to drive."

3. Scary, yes...
but brilliant. I love the way he tied in the bicycle accident at the beginning with the ending reference to not knowing how to drive. He summed it up beautifully, if such a tragic thing can be beautiful.

7. so .... why don't we demand the car keys from this "driver?"
Hmm, let's see, his driving of the car has killed thousands of people, shows no signs of improving, and we're gonna LET HIM DRIVE THE CAR FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR?

ARE WE OUT OF OUR FUCKING MINDS?

Hell, that guy that was shooting people from the clocktower of Univ of Texas wasn't as dangerous as George Fucking Bush!

"oh, well, we have to let him keep shooting from the clocktower. We're not allowed to remove him for another six months."
