2. I quit on the Manufacturing Jobs question.
It's Enron-style accounting. They reclassify burger-flipping as a manufacturing job and then claim record growth in the manufacturing section. This is the worst kind of bullshit.

4. The big joke about this quiz is

It never mentions how far the economy has fallen and how many jobs were lost in the first place.

Created 200k jobs. Wow. First off were they in the public or private sector? probably public sector. Remember govt accounts for 18% of the GDP which we use to measure economic growth. Is it safe to say that the govt's been spending quite a bit? I'd say so. Secondly nearly 3 million jobs lost most of them private.

This to me is akin as saying "well I blew up your house, but look! I planted some shrubs near where your porch used to be so it's all purty now. Aint I a swell guy?"

5. Did you notice - that when ever they have a "when last were things
this good" - it always skipped Poppys years and went back to Reagan? Just the numbers? Or intentional? (I vote the latter - the entire strategy of this admin has been "mirror the successes of Reagan, and avoid the problems (breaking the "no new taxes" pledge, and "not getting Saddam") of Poppy."
