Is anyone else nervous about bush*s poll numbers
being so low? I know, I know, I'm giddy as a school girl myself, but to be honest I'm starting to get nervous. These people will stop at nothing to stay in charge. We know what they are capable of. I can't help but sit here and wait for the other shoe to drop. I'm telling you, something is up. Just you wait and see!

5. Remember
back after we invaded Iraq, or maybe it was even before that, when the Republicans were saying (on their website, etc) that Bush's poll numbers are going to drop? They knew it would come.

We know for sure they could play the Saddam card it they wanted...put him up on trial before the election and convict him...whatever...people might like that (if it goes to plan).

Maybe they're banking on catching bin Laden...I mean, that would be all they need to win, wouldn't it? Maybe they know right where he is but are just waiting...maybe they already have him...who knows.

All I can say is, expect a surprise. Remember what they did to Carter in 1980?

6. Bronco69, I'm feeling a little nervous too. My gut is telling me that
they are up to something. The Republicans have the power now and they are not going to give it up. When they stole the 2000 election I knew they were capable of doing ANYTHING to have power and control of our country.
ELECT KERRY 2004!!!!

8. not nervous at all
if they want to win, they will need to lower the price of gas, drastically reduce the debt, fix the situation in Iraq, create a million new jobs and do something about the raising costs of health care.

If they can do all these things between now and November, well that would mean they were a totally different administration then the one that has govern for over three years.

Let's see how low they can go.

10. i think the numbers are going to bounce up a bit later in the summer
Abu Ghraib will be off the news, and I think this is what has been driving down the numbers.

Now, lets cross our fingers that there will be grand jury indictments in the Plame case, and Mike Moores movie (though i dont think it deserved the Palme D'Or) becomes a big summer movie phenom, which, combined, could drive Bushes numbers down again....

11. And just why do you think that Moore's film....
didn't deserve the award? Have you seen it? Anybody you know? A little bit of hubris on your part, I think.

12. Exactly what I was thinking!
How do you know it didn't deserve it? Were you in Cannes? Did you see it? And if you did ,what are your credentials?
