1. "Again"???
That assumes that he stopped at one point, doesn't it?

I'll bet the fucker's popped before AF1 gets handed off to Memphis when he goes the "The Ranch"

2. So you don't think he's ever quit?
I was thinking he was on the wagon while Texas gov and while campaigning in 2000.... but now he's fallen off with a resounding thud.

11. No. Just better at hiding it then.
He wasn't in the public eye as much when he was Governor, and I guess he COULD have kept dry for a while when he was campaigning.

My experience around drunks has been that a real drunk can seem functional at a BAC that would put me on the floor slobbering incoherently. If he's having trouble with drunken face-plants it could mean that he's upped the intake from the "normal daily maintenance level".

3. start with a man with the capacities of GWB -
add in 35 years of alchohol dependancy - put him in the middle of a political firestorm that he can barely comprehend - and ask him to cope.

How could he not be back on the booze?

5. He not only falls
off sedgways, mountain bikes, trips over a pretzel he also falls off the wagon providing he was ever on. Being he is so afraid of hooses I doubt he ever got close to the wagon.

7. it's well known
the 'ranch' is a prop, a set, pure propaganda. the scenes you see when reporters are speaking is FAR from the 'ranch' - which the public has never seen.

this was all done to make * appear more 'folksy' and down-to-earth.

and the chimp's fear of horses (along with mice, cicadas and the truth) has been reported many times

14. Let me add that Putin learned to ride when he
first came to visit. He thought * could ride. Also, the "ranch" looks nothing like a ranch from what I have read. Wish we could find a picture.....

10. The "ranch"
He only bought the fake "ranch" in 1999 when it became claer he was going to be the GOP nominee. Its just a prop designed to make a worthless Aristocrat who has never had a real job in his entire life appear more "folksy". I doubt the guy can tell a horse from a cow.

8. Too bad none of us seem to know any SS agts.
I know 2. ! is working a duty in NY so probably doesn't have the opportunity to see anything at the WH, the other had Cheney protection duty during the Campaign. I guess he might have seen (or smelled) something back then, but never said. He also has a duty in NY now. I know they are forbidden to "tell stories out of school", but this was a neighbor I knew since he was 11 years old. I could imagine him certainly never saying anything, but maybe a nod, a smile, or a wink in response to certain questions.

15. Not really. When the guy was protecting Cheney, he did say
he was a pretty nice guy, but a PIA because he liked to do some different things from former candidates. One complaint was having to follow Cheney "on horseback" during several Wyoming "fun" trips. I didn't get the impression my friend didn't like horseback riding, but it's difficult for him and his fellow SS guys to do their job on isolated horse trails and off in the woods.
