1. I'm curious:
"What do you think?" I'm not sure why you posted this?

2. Wouldn't you rather have Fox's rightwing windbag than McCain?

4. I was trying to be serious.
The most recent thread about "Fox's rightwing windbag" appear to be concerned with his sexual preferences. There has been no discussion on his being included in a Kerry Administration. I would hope that we would all be decent enough not to attack someone, or make a cheap attempt at humor, based upon their sexuality. That type of thing should be beneath our dignity. I was hoping that you might be able to put what you posted here in some other context, and clearly we know that he is not being considered for VP. What do you think?

7. My cheap attempt at humor is only based on his being frequently discussed
I figure the wave of McCain for VP stuff has mostly subsided, but there seems to be a lot of talk about this Smith fellow. So why not combine two fads into one and discuss runnign Smith for VP.

8. Oh.
Hmmm. "This Smith fellow" is fairly insignificant. He's getting some play on here now, because of concerns about his sexuality. That's too bad, because he should be judged on his work, not his sexuality. It's not unlike making jokes about Rice or Powell based on their race. Bad taste, not what our folks should be doing. Sick humor is great. Racist or sexist humor isn't. This is just my opinion, of course. But I surprised to see this type of thinking. It shows the republicans aren't the only ones who need some self-reflection. Thanks for taking the time to explain your thoughts.

9. You'll notice that I've made no reference to the issue that involves smith
I'm just combining two hot topics of rediculous discussion to create a hybrid

... Dr. Howard, Dr. Fine or Dr. Howard?

This whole exercise is getting re-goddam-diculous :)

Kerry should pick Edwards or Clark. If he's thinking of anyone else, he's screwing up AGAIN.

Yeah, that's the ticket!

PS: If you're wondering what I'm referring to, check this out: http://www.thesmokinggun.com/mugshots/dsmithmug1.html

"Fox News Channel anchor Shepard Smith was arrested by Florida police in November 2000 and charged with aggravated battery with a motor vehicle after arguing with another reporter over a parking space (both were covering the Bush-Gore Florida vote debacle)."
