OK People when predictions of a Kerry landslide begin (as in Hardball
in just a moment), PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ignore them. There is a lot of work left to do. Do NOT be lulled into a sense of complacency and security. There is too much to lose. Lets keep our eyes on the ball and every other cliche that comes to mind. It ain't over till its over....it aint over till the fat lady sings....etc.

oath though. The ugly head of fascism will rear itself in full color and the 4th reich will officially begin.
If they did what they did to steal the 2000 election, there is no fucking way that they will relinquish power by way of another election. They have congress, SCOTUS,the religous right, the military industrial complex and the media in their pockets.
Let the goose stepping begin.

This a very cynical and defeatist attitude I have but we should all be able to see the writing on the walls.

God Save America!

leaving others to clean up the mess he has made just like every other failure he has had in his life.

Bush is beaten and he knows it. Personally, I think he can't wait to get out. Democrats should start thinking about whether or not they can take the Legislative Branch as well.

8. Even Karen Hughes is admitting it's going to be close
Imagine! From Pat Robertson's "God told me it was going to be a landslide for Bush" to "It'll come down to 6% of the swing votes" in about what, two months?

It will definitely be decided by voter turnout. Don't worry that you're going to scoop up the odd Bush apathetic in your sweeps. Get every voter you can to the polls on November 2, and we'll show Pat Robertson that God was right all along -- just for the wrong candidate!

11. There is a great deal of work to be done before November
We do not want to be overconfident. Bush and Rove have some tricks up their sleeve and a ton of money to spend. If it turns out to be a landside, great. However do not count on it.

23. Not a conspiracy, just insider hardball.
Iowa caucus. Kerry-Gephardt and Edwards-Kucinich agree to swap delegates. Throw in a dash of dirty tricks (robocalling, campaign infiltrators). Nothing illegal but the party got it's man.

27. You're completely right. But the poster
implied that electronic voting fraud led to Kerry's status. While the party manipulation is abhorrent, its quite different than BBV fraud.

19. My Prediction: Bush leads Kerry by 5 points in August 25th
By the electiton it will be "too close to call". Recounts in Ohio will go to the SCOTUS and in a decision that is 180 degrees out of sync with Bush v. Gore 2000, Bush will be re-selected.

25. Not quite - Bush "will surge" following...
Bush will surge after he wraps himself in the flag on the ashes of the WTC when he accepts his party's nomination...

Nobody will dare bring up Bush's promise from early 2002 that he would not exploit 9/11 for political purposes.

Bush will go for trailing by 8-10 points in most polls to up by 3-4 points.

start getting the belief out there that Kerry is going to take it in a landslide and then start making Bush into this underdog getting beat up by the bully liberal media and in order to protect freedom and moral values we got to get behind Bush, Rove is slimy and Bush is mean and sneaky, remember don't misunderestimate them

31. I agree wholeheartedly
The election is pretty well decided. Florida is working quickly to purge voters again, and I am hoping like hell that I am not "accidentally" disenfranchised. Jeb makes these wily statements all the time about how he wants to deliver Florida to his brother. All over the country, voting machines are going to be in place that can easily be manipulated. And Kerry is probably going to do what Daschle and his ilk do...lick BushCo's boots. I hear nothing but negative reports about the Kerry campaign. If we are lucky, Kerry will be another Dukakis. If not, another Mondale. There are MONTHS before the elections and there will be polls and polls that show Shrub now Kerry now Shrub now Kerry leading. There will be backbiting, scandals swept under rugs and plenty of media whoring. Veterans like Cleland, McCain, and Kerry will be sacrificed on ShrubCo brand altars while the high priests of the Reich punch up that old horse apple about how liberals hate the military. The ugliness has not even begun.
