Invite a Republican friend/family member to Fahrenheit 9/11 & pay for them
Edited on Tue Jun-01-04 08:41 PM by jackstraw45
Now that Fahrenheit 9/11 has a release date....

How about if everyone invites a GOP friend or family member to go to Fahrenheit 9/11? Paying for their ticket always helps.

We should start a movement..."Bring your Republicans friend to Sanity"

I should add: it would be good to have some thoughtful discussion afterwords over (insert beverage here). :toast:

Michael Moore needs to sell vouchers that are good ONLY for Fahrenheit 9/11.

They make GREAT gifts !!!!!!!!

6. I absolutely agree
>Michael Moore needs to sell vouchers that are good ONLY for Fahrenheit 9/11.<

I have no idea if MM/Lions Gate/IFC/the Weinsteins can put this together in three weeks, but it's brilliant.

If one could purchase vouchers to a showing of "Fahrenheit 9/11" to share with family, friends and neighbors, it might get a million more butts in the seats.

If you agree, e-mail mike@michaelmoore.com and let him know. If anyone can pull this off, he and the Weinsteins can.

BTW, I don't know what the voting registration regs are in DU'ers individual states. We're in Washington. I e-mailed Michael Moore a week and a half ago and pledged to him that I would sit outside the theater for as many showings of his movie as possible and register new voters. Would any other evilDU'ers like to join the effort?

Julie

And we can show it to every Republican we know.

Have a DVD "Fahrenheit 9/11" viewing party, all Republicans welcome.

Why is Michael Moore's site down right now? http://michaelmoore.com/

12. Well, try "Reagan Democrats" and moderates
There are a LOT of people who vote republican simply because they REALLY DON'T KNOW BETTER. They aren't political...don't read the news much and simply vote the way their parents did.

These people can be reached, IMO.

19. Is anyone organizing showings of the movie?
Edited on Thu Jun-03-04 05:36 PM by Democat
Is there anyone who is organizing buyouts of tickets at theaters so that people can see it for free in swing states?

If there was, I bet DUers could raise money for the cause.

The right wing did it with The Passion, is anyone on the left doing it with F9/11?
