So far as "pranks" go, why not a re-select movement instead?
First, how can you recall someone who wasn't elected?
Second, calling for the re-selection of the president has a bit more sting to it. A face contorted with rage and rants of "I hate Bush" or "Bush Lied!!!" do more to get in the way of the message than to get it out. (You know, the cliche, "Kill 'em with kindness.")
Imagine a bogus "Committee To Re-Select The President" (i.e., the Supreme Court).
Imagine a bogus campaign to re-select the president.
Imagine if everyone wore a Re-Select Bush T-shirt and had a Re-Select Bush bumper sticker (on her SUV) and a Re-Select Bush button on her lapel. Think of all the possibilities: Re-Select Bush signs, flyers, towels, tampons, etc.*
You've heard of Dean Gear. Well, this would be Bush S-attire. Such a display would infuriate some and confuse others. The key is, if it causes a person to scratch her head and think, even if she disagrees with the message, at least you can be assured she heard that message.* * *We have a "re-select" club over at Yahoo and often a freeper would come in and praise our effort, totally oblivious to the fact that we're a mock support group. Demockery In Action :P)
