Chalabi - Passing secrets to Iran?
http://www.nytimes.com/2004/06/02/politics/02CHAL.html

American officials reported that in the cable to Tehran, the Iranian official recounted how Mr. Chalabi had said that one of "them" — a reference to an American — had revealed the code-breaking operation, the officials said. The Iranian reported that Mr. Chalabi said the American was drunk.

The account of Mr. Chalabi's actions has been confirmed by several senior American officials, who said the leak contributed to the White House decision to break with him.

Some of the people the F.B.I. expects to interview are civilians at the Pentagon who were among Mr. Chalabi's strongest supporters and served as his main point of contact with the government, the officials said.

3. Office of Special Programs in Pentagon had him under wing!
He was their darling. They were cozy. Etc. . . . So where did he get his information? . . . Hah!

Here may be the Neo-Cons undoing! The hubris that lead them uncritically to accpet Chalabi's information (because it accorded with what they wanted to do in the first place!) also lead them to confide in this man (after all the intelligence rules don't apply to the Right-Thinkers, the UberMen, the NeoCons), and now it may take a healthy chunk out of their collective ASS!

How is the administration going to pitch the fact that they were conned into the war? Doesn't that cast grave doubts on their ability to intelligently lead the country??????? Let's drum this thing!
