True or False : Iraq has more PHDs per capita than the US ?
I heard this mentioned on the television the other day. I thought it was a very interesting statistic. But informative for those that might have some preconceived notions about the Middle East as uneducated and uncivilized in entirety...

2. Best educated women in the ME...all during Saddam regime.
Not only education but a healthcare system UNTIL Desert Storm took the nation down, destroyed their infrastructure, poisned their water and air. Check out the real history of Iraq...Mesopotamia etc.

3. ah hah
No wonder the bushies want to install their own man to be in charge. Any independent thinker and -whoosh - there goes their muddle east plan.

"Yes, Mr. Bremer, thank you for your congratulations. I realize I have a tough job ahead of me. You may go.

"No, I mean all of you. Yes, all of your troops. You have 5 days. starting now.

"No, our security is none of your concern. This is our nation, our security, our concern. Not yours. Leave.

"No, your embassy will not be permitted to stay in that site. Too many spies, too many communications equipment and ties to people we don't trust. Leave. Now. And don't let the door hit you in the ass.
