A Conglomeration of Inconsistencies and Contradictions
Edited on Wed Jun-02-04 03:11 PM by kiloman
While driving back to the office a bit ago, I got stuck in traffic (Imagine That) and in front of me was this car that must have had 30 various political and issue stickers of all shapes and sizes , Just plastered all over it.

What struck me was the obvious slant, “God Bless President Bush”, “Support our troops in Iraq”, They are fighting four YOUR freedom, And then on the other side, (It took a while to read them, I never did finish before traffic started moving again) , It said “Human Life is Precious”, You know the Anti-Abortion messages, Lot’s of them, And then it hit me.

For no reason does this person support Abortion, But at the very same time, On the other side of the car he is promoting the wholesale slaughter of so many people through his support of war, It just seemed to me such a contradiction, To promote saving life on one side of the car, While promoting taking a life on the other.

Does anyone else see the irony in this ?

1. Yeah...
for almost thirty years now, the right's rhetoric has sounded in my ears as "Every child MUST be born so that we can send of them off to kill other children and execute them the first time they step out of line and do something that displeases us." Hypocrites.

2. That is one good reason to never refer to them as Pro-Life but only as
Anti-Abortion. If they were pro-life they would be against all war and the death penalty and the tobacco industry and environmental pollution etc.

3. Allow me to split another hair since we're talking about contradictions
They're anti-choice.

No one is really "pro-abortion;" we're pro-choice.

:)
