One of the lies that the Conservative-owned media perpetuates is
that Neo-cons, fundies, etc. are much greater in number in this country
than is realistic. Just because they make a lot of noise doesn't
mean there are a lot of them.

In David Brock's book "Blinded by the Right" he talks about how clearly
Conservatives know that, being in the minority, they can not win fairly.
They have consciously adopted their sleazeball, dirty-pool tactics based
on that knowledge. Its part of their plan to appear greater in number,
therefore more intimidating.

The Neocons also believe there are a bunch more of them out there too
intimidated by the "Liberal" Media to come out. But their tactics have
mostly brought a bunch of nascent fascists out of the closet, alienating
more decent, rational conservatives.

I heard he was pushing for a July 4th weekend release, but maybe a holiday weekend isn't the best time to premiere a movie, given the amount of people travelling (which may or may not happen, given gas prices)

I emailed her the link to the story with a big "Happy Birthday!" message attached. Needless to say, the whole family will be in the movie theater that night.

the invasion of Iraq. The BBC carried the feed and put it on the air a couple of minutes early and Great Britain got to see it.

I didn't see it but I read about it. "Feels good!" the cheer-leading usurper proclaims as people start to be slaughtered.

The trailer for the movie is what it looked like and it was just f*cking stunning.

People are going to freak out when the trailers start running of this movie.
