...reactions on the Tenet story. As you will see, Clinton's Penis makes a much-anticipated guest appearance, taking Bush "off the hook for Intel failures."

this is not good news at all. The media will spin it as Bush's national security team cracking up because the war has gone badly, or maybe tie it into this Wilson grand jury leak thing. This is not good news 150 days from the election.

Thinking about it this could be a ploy by the dems to make Bush have to appoint another CIA director and go through all the Senate confirmation BS prior to the election.

FWIW, since the US is worried about an attack this summer, I don't think the Senate will dare screw with the confirmation process. No matter how much they'd like to.

Correct, which could account for the timing. This takes the President off the hook for Intel failures since Tenet was a Clinon appointee, and Now the Presidnet can stick his guy in, Right around the time of the Dems Convention.

1. In a thread that has at least 250 posts by now
Very few FReeps are panicking. Most see it as a good thing and plan on pegging Tenet as a Clinton man that should have been sacked at the transition.

This isn't going to sway anyone who was at least 90% behind Bush prior to the resignation.

people, issues, scandals, trash. mini-circus for a couple of weeks tops. then, full speed ahead, leaner and meaner. and come election time? each issue will henceforth be declared 'past history'

3. And Rove's job is made easier "since the US is worried"...
...and as John Cale once sang, "Fear is a man's best friend."
