And who better than Sen. Trent Lott to spin on Mississippi radio yesterday, the prison abuses at Abu Ghraib including the death of a prisoner at Abu Ghraib, apparently after a beating - - Lott said, 'This is not Sunday school; this is interrogation; this is rough stuff.' ... Some of the prisoners 'should not have been prisoners in the first place, probably should have been killed.'

Lott just brushes over the fact that that prison was chocked with people who had been rounded up in the chaotic aftermath of the fall of Iraq. I don't get it. One of the tortured prisoners was finally proven innocent and released and was interviewd by the new york times! A scar proved it was him in the photos, and he was innocent!
