Could someone else besides Bush have forced Tenent out???
Just thinking since there's a debate here about whether Bush was surprised by this resignation or not. We know the government is run by Cheney along with his right arm, Rummy and Wolfewitz and the boys at the Pentagon (that's why there is this constant war with Powell--he won't play ball with them). Could it be that Cheney was trying to get Dimwit to punt Tenent so he could take the fall for all the "bad things" that have happened these past 4 years, along with shit that's piling up in the wings; or they knew Dimwit shouldn't be approached because he wouldn't do it, etc. Soooo, these darling organized crime boys simply either offered Tenent a real terrific money deal or offered him an "offer he couldn't refuse". Thus they and Rove are now going to wind up the media whore machine and try to wipe all the poo-poo off this administration's face before November by blaming it on Tenent 'cause Dimwit was too stupid to figure out how to wipe said poo-poo off his own face?? Think about it. We know Bush has never been in charge from day one and we know who has been. Why think Bush is in charge or in touch with anything now???

1. The CIA media machine will now rev up into high gear...
...and the leaks will come a lot faster from this point on. Tenet was well-liked within the Agency, and has lots of powerful friends on both sides of the aisle who aren't buying what FratBoy's cookin'.
