Pope John Paul meets with the Anti-Christ
what a historic and surreal moment. here is the holy father of the catholic church, sitting next to satan's own spawn.

bush for all the world looks like an ape next to a saint.

i pray that the pope will call down god's own wrath on this damned disgrace to the united states and to all christianity, but he probably won't, cause he's too nice.

it was just a strange historical photo op, probably designed to secure the catholic vote, and not for any spiritual gain. in bush's born again brain, the catholics are on the way out anyway. born agains see the pope as demonic and the leader of a cult. i know, i have bornagains in my own family. they really believe that.

you ain't foolin anybody mr. bush, least of all the holy father.

4. Bush isn't the Anti-Christ so stop saying that!
Besides I think if Satan spawned something like little George he would smother him in his crib and go back to square one.

5. I wouldn't say that the Pope is
a saint. By the same token, I wouldn't give Bush the title of anti-Christ. I mean, according to what I know, the anti-Christ is pretty sharp!

Pardon my "fallen away Catholic" bias, however.

6. I think most will agree
that the Pope should have invested more energy into aggressively attacking internal problems in the church. Yet he still has made some significant contributions to society. I do not doubt that he has been sincere in his public stances. bush creates a stark contrast. He has benefitted from the crookedness of his administration. He has made no positive contributions -- none -- to the nation or world, other than his small group of criminal supporters. Sincere does not describe him. One is an old man who is past his prime; the other is a fool who will have no prime.

9. Hey now, Cheney gave a gift
to the Pope when he visited: a crystal dove.

Cheney is a great man not scary....

(just kidding about him not being scary - he actually did have the gall to present a crystal dove)
