It's actually good for Kerry to be behind * in the polls

Now don't get me wrong but bare with me. I think the country as a whole don't want *ush re-selected and are 'courting' John Kerry. Now let's say for instance *ush is behind Kerry 5 - to 10 points, how much more dangerous and desperate will Rove and company be this summer/fall? Lots. Now, if bushco seems to be up, it will send a strong signal and energize the country to finally face up to, "do we really want another four years of this?" The answer obviously is no.

Now I've heard a lot on here about John Kerry being a "weak candidate", but is he really? I say no. It's not his time to shine. From all I hear, he's better when he comes from behind. I expect *ush to open up a 5 point lead and then slowly but surely erode. I remember the Jimmy Carter rally, when the country rallied around it's president only to say, "we've had enough".

2. Kerry's main task is to shore up his nat'l security creds

per recent zogby poll, people think Kerry would do a better job than bush on ***all issues***except nat'l security. Once he turns that around (he's working on it, and I believe he will turn it) things are going to look mighty good.
