Chalabi blames Tenet for EVERYTHING THAT'S GONE WRONG - even WMD!

Speaking to reporters, Chalabi lashed out at Tenet, saying the effects of his policies toward Iraq over the past years "have been not helpful to say the least."

"He continued attempting to make a coup d'etat against Saddam in the face of all possible evidence that this would be unsuccessful," Chalabi said. "His policies caused the death of hundreds of Iraqis in this futile efforts."

Chalabi also accused Tenet of providing "erroneous information about weapons of mass destruction to President Bush, which caused the government much embarrassment at the United Nations and his own country."

U.S. officials have said much of the information about Saddam's banned weapons programs came from Chalabi's Iraqi National Congress. No major banned weapons stockpiles have been found.

Has there ever been treason on this scale in our history?

2. Everyone blames everyone else
and no one takes responsibilty. The question is how much beating will Tenet take before he fights back!

It was HIS damn info that the hawks were using to get US into Iraq, not Tenet's. Now he's saying all that stuff was Tenet's fault, HA!

Far beith from me to take displeasure in the face of some CIA big boss pig getting spit on, but this Petain wannabe here sets new records in projection and hypocrisy! The quotes given in this report are more suited for the Daily Show or the Onion..

10. The more Chalabi rants about Tenet
Edited on Fri Jun-04-04 09:04 AM by CWebster
The better Tenet looks.

Wonder how much Tenet has on Chalabi/Bush ties and is he now in a position to spill it?

These attacks from Chalabi, who is as mafia as they get, are suspicious.

11. None of this would have happened if the grown ups weren't ...
in charge. Both Tenet and Chalabi were around when Bill Clinton was running things so why didn't Clinton launch an invasion? If the current pResident hadn't come into office hell bent on starting a war then we wouldn't be in this mess. Chalabi gave Bush the excuses he needed but the motivation for war was there even before he stole election. This whole flap is a side show. A President that is intelligent and not prone to snap judgments based on preconceived notions and gut reactions would have made different choices. Failure of leadership in the highest office in the land is the real reason for this debacle.

Edited on Fri Jun-04-04 09:50 AM by democracy eh
but which twisted smack of lies is it? such a corrupt cess pool all round. but I do not know where to begin to make sense.

Thursday AM Headline: Rice announced that Tenet would personally head an investigation into Chalabi on the basis of unspecified national security concerns...

Thursday Afternoon Tenet resigned,

Thurday Evening Chalabi shoots his mouth off

WTF? wacky, weird, f'ed up
all part of a plan from the neocons to confuse the hell out of the opposition?
